The Trump administration has hinted at getting rid of the buffer zone altogether, but so far has not made any specific moves to do so. In the meantime, New Mexico's congressional delegation has introduced a bill to make the buffer zone permanent and thus invulnerable to Trump's orders.

Hi guys, have you heard anything about any proposals to alter
the Chaco Canyon buffer zone?
