Another great dispatch filled with beautiful photographs and words. I'll be the first to help fund a coffee top table book filled with Jonathan's photographs and prose. Anyone else?
Thank you Jonathan for this road trip! This year's water reports have put a smile on my face every time I imagine beloved potholes refilling and the Bighorns and other beings who might soon be bellying up for a drink. Some folks see this time between snow and bud break as mud season, I like to think of it as you note - a glorious time when willow limbs glow burgundy and gold.
Back here in NY - after about a foot of snow, yesterday warmer - today RAIN! And muddy muck coming soon! Thanks for the gorgeous pictures - much more uplifting than the cloudy, rainy yuck here.

Thank you, Jonathan, I needed that.

This is truth, people. We just might’ve crossed trails out there.
Very much enjoying The Land Desk. May I have your permission to paint a watercolor of Comb Ridge and the Abajos?
Beautiful!
Lovely description. I hope your travels helped heal your heartache. It usually works for me.
Great photos!
