Oh Land Desk, who knew you had schwag?!? I will have to buy some because these are just too hard. The only one I know for sure is that Dryland Beans is in Cahone. I will do some blind guesses on the others. The truck is in Arizona! Maybe that winter river is the San Juan? I'm pretty sure I've seen photos of that bluebird mural from the Navajo Nation but haven't seen it in person. Never seen that bottle tree forest so that's a complete mystery but I'm going to say Nevada because Nevada folk sure do know how to use old junk. And the last one I'm fairly sure is the Sun Valley Mine in northern Arizona. Oy. Trivia contest next time please.
We have some winners! Betty Lasich, Jay Canode, Geoff Thompson, and Soren. Yeehaw! Now you've got to pick a prize and send me your mailing address: landdesk@substack.com . And for everyone else: There are still two unidentified pictures, the bottles and the frozen river. Prizes for folks who can name those locations and extra credit if you can tell me where the frozen river pic is taken from. Hint: It's a form of transportation.
We just drove by the Drylands Bean store in Cahone on our way to the river. : ) Knew it was around here somewhere - it was fun to connect it to your post today, Jonathan. Thanks! Be well.
