Say it again! Thanks for the Lake Powell and Mead sussing as well as the relative snow pack graphs. Our overall Gunnison drainage Snotel graph stands at 147% this morning. Great info! Loved your inclusion of the Planet of the Apes clip. Funnily as the camera zoom over the mesa into Powell you can see a houseboat against the cliff as plain as a houseboat on Lake Powell. It's a quick glimpse until you stop it.

I have to agree with the party-poopers - we humans tend to use it before you lose it! Which is what has been done to water, air AND the environment for centuries. Why would it be any different in this case? Sorry - I've been around for too long to believe in the common sense of humans! Look around you.

I haven’t seen this much snow piled up / plowed up since the mid 70’s in Durango.

My one-time Lake Powell adventure involved kayaking up a canyon, capturing a loose horse in a box canyon and riding it (bridleless) bareback up the canyon and back down to the kayaks. One of those surreal experiences that happens in the SW.
