The State of New Mexico and the Navajo Nation have both reached $11 million and $10 million settlements, respectively, with Sunnyside Gold Corporation and its parent company, Kinross, bringing closure to two of many legal sagas that rose up from the aftermath of the 2015 blowout of the Gold King Mine above Silverton, Colorado.
