Unreal! Is this just a distraction from the Kane Creek Preservation and Development and G&H Miller Family Holdings of the Echo Canyon development which has been simmering for the last couple of years and has been pretty quiet lately? Probably not. Just another dangerous, wacko idea from the west side of the Wasatch Range.

It kinda looks like UDOT just plans to make Hey 12 a bike path? Not sure where the extra lane will go on the Hogsback between Boulder and Escalante. Though there's a great path from Red Canyon to Bryce NP.

I thought the Cisco development proposal was some sort of scary Halloween story. Which it is to those of us less inclined to master planned developments in a region with diminishing water. It's like some people believe that "Ocean-front property in Arizona" song, building wave lagoons. WTF!?! 😜

Gross. There will be a faith loyalty test to live there? A skin color screening?

I read about Eileen in HCN in 2018, then stopped by Cisco super briefly on my way from Denver to Moab, sometime thereafter. Maybe all the new Havilah residents can get jobs at Jackass Joe's.

I’ve already bike-ridden from Salt Lake to Bluff, even to Mexican Hat. It went perfectly fine.

I don't even like driving on 191 between Monticello and Moab because the traffic's so thick and people drive like maniacs. Riding my bike on it? Fuggedaboutit!

I have a good recollection, Moab to La Sal, a nice stretch. Of course that was before Bluff got it’s resort at the north end.

Re Cisco, something about this scheme makes me wonder about a connection to the the Davis County Cooperative Society, a/k/a the Kingston Group. Just a guess.
