In part I of the Methane Madness series we established that a big share of methane emissions in the U.S. come from the oil and gas industry. In part II we jumped ahead a little and focused in on emissions from flaring methane and other associated gases at wells targeting oil—and on efforts to utilize that methane to power cryptocurrency mining machines.
