The forests in Az are incredibly dry and pines are dying, even on the Rim at 7000 ft. There should be fire restrictions in all the NF in the Southwest. there should be restricted OHV usage as well. In Tonto NF for example, hundreds of thousands of acres have been burned along the road to Payson because people have access to the dried out land with their OHVs and can't seem to spend any time on public land without starting fires.
