El Vado Store. Spanish Land Grants guaranteed by Treaty of Guadalupe Hildago 1848, but got taken away soon after. "They stole our land and gave us powdered milk!” —Reies Lopez Tijerina. Canijon is a hub in radical Hispano land grant country, La Raza Norte a radical anti-US element in Northern NM, "Home of the Tierra Amarillo Raiders" aka Allianza Federales de Mercedes who held the Rio Arriba Courthouse in armed hostage on June 5, 1967. "Dynamite Kid" was Baltasar Martinez, leader of land grant holders.

You come into this corner of New Mexico and it doesn't take long to recognize the solidity of their outrage. As time wears on, it has become clearer and clearer that knew what was coming. Friendly, courteous people like most in northern New Mexico.

Wasn't the "Dynamite Kid" the guy who did the raid at the Rio Arriba courthouse in Tierra Amarillo, N.M., in 1967? Something Martinez, I think? It was over a land grant; I think he took a deputy hostage or something.

Oh super - so now we dont have to worry about climate change - period! Right? Sure sounds like a real tough "compromise" for the Colorado River. I'm sure this will fix everything.

Are they really that ignorant/stupid/DUMB? Well, yeah, I guess because that attitude is country wide.

Sorry dont have any knowledge of the picture (NYS remember)
