Let’s all spend the day catching up, shall we? We’ve had some darned good dispatches and awesome threads in the past couple of weeks, so if you haven’t checked them out, you should. And if you have, take a break and enjoy these photos of sandstone and snow-capped mountains. Extra credit for properly identifying the locations in the comment section.

Around the homeplace - Abajos from the south with that distinctive Navajo sandstone buttress near the alignment of old 95. Navajo Mountain, however, could almost slide in as being the being the Henry's. And Tuk with South Mountain to the right/south from - reminding us that these are all laccoliths (just ask G.K. Gilbert) though Abbey tried to pull one over on us that the La Sals were granitic.
